Well, this is not the first huge acquisition of Lotus herbals Private Limited. It has also acquired a 100 percent stake in the Soul Tree, an organic ayurveda brand. As a future planning, Lotus Herbals aims towards maintaining a distinct identity of Fixderma and FCL as a part of its brand expansion strategy. Lotus Herbals is already a popular brand but Fixderma has been selling its products through online platforms. Other channels for the sale of products curated by  Fixderma have been dermatologists and pharmacies in  the domestic as well as  international markets. Basically Fixderma is a brand that delivers products directly to the consumers and does not have any physical stores or outlets of its own.

FCL is also owned by Fixderma Pvt. Ltd. that manufactures anti-acne, sun protection, hair care, and anti-ageing products for all skin types. Fixderma India will continue to research, manufacture and market the innovative dermatology products as it has been doing so far even after the acquisition as a distinctive entity.

A 25 percent increase is being expected by Lotus Herbals in the sale of beauty products within the next three to four months as there are a lot of festivals lined up during this quarter after acquiring Fixderma. Another reason for increased sales is the opening of offices and the government allowing overseas travel and transport freely.
